Enjoy virtually shadowless images in most installations with the Maxell MC-AW3506 3700-Lumen WXGA Ultra-Short Throw 3LCD Projector. It features an ultra-short 0.3:1 throw ratio (measured from the mirror cover), which allows it to be mounted directly above or below your screen, wall, or whiteboard to project an image as large as 100", reducing the risk of possible shadows. Its 3700 lumens of brightness, combined with its 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, helps it overcome ambient light in many situations and retain detail in dark areas of the image without compromising overall brightness. The WXGA 1280 x 800 native resolution helps ensure that text and images are clear at most viewing distances.
The MC-AW3506 features RCA composite, two VGA, and two HDMI inputs to support various sources. One VGA input can instead act as an output, allowing you to output the video to another projector or display. Its stereo RCA and 1/8" audio inputs, 1/8" audio output, and built-in 16-Watt speaker allow audio to accompany your video for a more immersive experience. An IR remote is included for convenient control, plus a VGA cable for virtually instant connectivity.
This technology helps make images appear more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss, and shade. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are closer to the actual colors of the objects they represent.
HDCR2 (High Dynamic Contrast Range)
Using HDCR, blurred images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, helping to make images appear clearer, even in bright rooms. HDCR2 enables both auto tone enhancement and auto color enhancement.
Copy setting data from one projector to others of the same model with your USB drive. This not only saves almost all projector settings, such as gamma and keystone, but it also saves hours in setup and installation of multiple projectors.
ImageCare is a lamp power control function that combines optimal picture performance with maximum energy savings by decreasing energy usage, improving contrast ratio, and lengthening lamp life. The result is a lower total cost of ownership and a decreased maintenance cost.
Intelligent Eco and Saver Modes
Automatically change the brightness of the lamp according to the brightness level of the screen. Also, automatically change the brightness of the lamp if there is no change in the screen image. Using ImageCare technology, these features give optimal picture performance with maximum energy savings.
Perfect Fit 2
Perfect Fit 2 provides vertical and horizontal digital correction of either barrel or pincushion distortions by enabling you to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another. This helps correct geometric and complicated distortions, allowing the projected image to fit correctly to the screen.

Network Control, Maintenance, and Security
Embedded networking gives you the ability to manage and control multiple projectors over your LAN. Features include event scheduling, centralized reporting, image transfer, and email alerts for reactive and routine maintenance.
By using a USB memory stick or other storage device, you can use the projector without a computer. Menus are easy to see with a thumbnail display, plus there is also a slideshow function.
PIN Lock / MyScreen / MyText
PIN lock protection can limit projector users. MyScreen PIN lock keeps captured images on the startup screen. You can set any name or logo to MyScreen, clearly identifying ownership. MyText provides the ability to write text on the startup screen such as model name, serial number, or location.
PJMessenger allows you to send and display text messages and audio alerts on your networked projectors. It is an easy and efficient way to send announcements out to multiple units.
Present Content via LAN
Hitachi's suite of networking software allows you to easily send content directly from your computer to the projector via your LAN connection.
Line templates in the projector menu can help when writing on a whiteboard. There are four types of line templates to choose from
Wireless Presentation Compatible
