Present in rooms with ambient light with the Maxell MC-WU5501 5200-Lumen WUXGA 3LCD Projector. It features 5200 lumens of color and white brightness to overcome ambient light in many situations, and its 1920 x 1200 WUXGA native resolution will help keep images and text clear at most viewing distances.
RCA composite video, VGA, and two HDMI inputs help ensure compatibility with a variety of source types. The HDMI and VGA outputs allow you to daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays to show the same image source in multiple places. A built-in 16W speaker mitigates the need for an external sound system, though you can use one with the analog audio inputs and output. An IR remote control and VGA cable are included as an added convenience.
Accentualizer This technology helps make images appear more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss, and shade. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are closer to the actual colors of the objects they represent.
DICOM Simulation Mode The MC-WU5501 offers a DICOM Simulation Mode that allows the projector to simulate the results of devices compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function, for display of grayscale images. The DICOM Simulation Mode, which supports both Blue and Clear Base, adjusts the gradation between the minimum and the maximum luminance, so gradation is distributed optimally. This feature is optimized for displaying medical images such as X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs, which makes the MC-WU5501 useful for non-diagnostic purposes such as lectures, academic meetings, and hospital conferences. This feature is recommended for use in medical schools for training and educational use only.
Edge Blending The MC-WU5501 is equipped with an edge blending function that helps produce seamless projection of one image using multiple projectors. Multiple blending functions are available to meet a variety of needs.
Instant Blending This lets you perform blending processing without any special equipment.
Warping Warping is possible via your computer using the included application, allowing you to project onto spherical surfaces with corners as well as flat screens.
HDCR (High Dynamic Contrast Range) Using HDCR, blurred images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, helping to make images appear clearer, even in bright rooms.
Image Optimizer This feature automatically adjusts HDCR and Accentualizer to enhance visibility as lamp brightness dims over time.
Picture by Picture and Picture in Picture Images from two input signals can be projected at the same time. Picture by Picture (P by P) enables you to compare two images side-by-side. Picture in Picture (P in P) lets you display one image within another image. These functions are handy when you need to compare two sets of data or other material.
Stackable Design Align two projectors with the center of the screen quickly and easily.
Vertical & Horizontal Lens Shift For ease of installation, vertical and horizontal lens shift let you move the image without moving the projector. Additionally, Picture Shift lets you fit or align the contents to the screen by shifting the content area vertically.
HDMI Out The HDMI output lets you send the content signal from one projector to another for sharing on multiple screens.
Network Control, Maintenance, and Security Embedded networking gives you the ability to manage and control multiple projectors over your LAN. Features include event scheduling, centralized reporting, image transfer, and email alerts for reactive and routine maintenance.
Perfect Fit Perfect Fit provides vertical and horizontal digital correction of either barrel or pincushion distortions by enabling you to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another. This helps correct geometric and complicated distortions, allowing the projected image to fit correctly to the screen.
PJMessenger PJMessenger allows you to send and display text messages and audio alerts on your networked projectors. It is an easy and efficient way to send announcements out to multiple units.
Projector Quick Connection App for Mobile Devices The Maxell iOS and Android apps offer projector control and provide the capability to display photos, documents, and web contents. It works over your LAN via your Ethernet or with the optional wireless adapter.
Wireless Presentation Compatible Connect the projector to a computer or your network using the optional USBWL11N USB wireless adapter.
