Present in rooms with ambient light with the Maxell MC-WX8265 6500-Lumen WXGA 3LCD Projector. It features 6500 lumens of color and white brightness to overcome ambient light in most situations, and its 1280 x 800 WXGA native resolution will help keep images and text clear at most viewing distances.
Component video, S-Video, 5-BNC, RCA composite video, VGA, and two HDMI inputs help ensure compatibility with a variety of source types. The VGA output lets you daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays to show the same image source in multiple places, and the analog audio inputs and output ensure that audio accompanies your video. An IR remote control and VGA cable are included as an added convenience.
This technology helps make images appear more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss, and shade. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are closer to the actual colors of the objects they represent.
DICOM Simulation Mode
The MC-WX8265 offers a DICOM Simulation Mode that allows the projector to simulate the results of devices compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function, for display of grayscale images. The DICOM Simulation Mode, which supports both Blue and Clear Base, adjusts the gradation between the minimum and the maximum luminance, so gradation is distributed optimally. This feature is optimized for displaying medical images such as X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs, which makes the MC-WX8265 useful for non-diagnostic purposes such as lectures, academic meetings, and hospital conferences. This feature is recommended for use in medical schools for training and educational use only.
Multiple Lens Options
There are a variety of lenses to use with the MC-WX8265, all with various impacts on the brightness output. The included lens features a middle-throw design.
Picture by Picture and Picture in Picture
Images from two input signals can be projected at the same time. Picture by Picture (P by P) enables you to compare two images side-by-side. Picture in Picture (P in P) lets you display one image within another image. These functions are handy when you need to compare two sets of data or other material.
Rotate the projector 360° for creative applications and enhanced installation flexibility.
Center Lens Design
Having the lens centered on the body of the projector helps simplify alignment with your screen for faster setup.
Motorized Zoom, Focus, and Lens Shift
The motorized function lets you make fine adjustments through the remote or your management software for further installation flexibility.
Perfect Fit 2
Perfect Fit 2 provides vertical and horizontal digital correction of either barrel or pincushion distortions by enabling you to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another. This helps correct geometric and complicated distortions, allowing the projected image to fit correctly to the screen.
Projector Quick Connection App for Mobile Devices
The Maxell iOS and Android apps offer projector control and provide the capability to display photos, documents, and web contents. It works over your LAN via your Ethernet or with the optional wireless adapter.
With the status monitor, you'll have access in real time to projector diagnostics. Status updates include configuration information, maintenance history, as well as error and alarm messaging. It can be accessed on the rear input panel or through the Maxell network tools software.
Network Control, Maintenance, and Security
Embedded networking gives you the ability to manage and control multiple projectors over your LAN. Features include event scheduling, centralized reporting, image transfer, and email alerts for reactive and routine maintenance.
By using your USB memory stick or other storage device, you can project files without a computer. Menus are easy to navigate via a thumbnail display. A slideshow function is also available.
PJMessenger allows you to send and display text messages and audio alerts on your networked projectors. It is an easy and efficient way to send announcements out to multiple units.
